Evidence of an intra-company transfer

This page explains how you must prove that you have been working overseas for your sponsor, to support your application to Tier 2 (Intra company transfer) of the points-based system if asked to do so. We will give you 7 working days from the day we write to you to provide the required infromation.

You do not need to have worked in the same position for the full specified period:

  • Long-term staff = 12 months experience;
  • Short-term staff = 12 months experience;
  • Graduate trainee = 3 months experience;
  • Skills transfer = no previous experience required.

You must send us one of the following:

  • payslips;
  • personal bank or building society statements; or
  • building society pass book.

Payslips

These should be either formal payslips or on company-headed paper. If payslips are not on headed paper or you only get online payslips, you must supply a letter from your sponsor. The letter must be on company-headed paper and must be signed by a senior official to confirm the authenticity of the payslips.

The most recent statement must be dated within one month of your application.

If you want to send electronic bank statements from an online account, these must contain all of the details listed above.
