Business persons
The business persons category has now closed to new applicants. This includes the concession for self-employed lawyers. If you wish to come to the United Kingdom as a business person, or you are already here and wish to extend your stay as a business person, you now need to apply as an entrepreneur (Tier 1 Entrepreneur) under our points-based system.
The information in this section is only relevant to you if you are already in the United Kingdom under the business persons category and now wish to apply to live here permanently (settlement).
