Domestic workers in private households
If your application is refused
This page explains how you can appeal against our decision to refuse your application for permission to extend your stay or settle in the UK if you are currently in the UK as a domestic worker in a private household and applied on or before 5 April 2012 for your visa to come to the UK under that category.
Your right to an appeal and the process you need to follow will depend on the type of application you have made.
Refusal of your FLR(O) or SET(O) application
If we refuse your application to extend your stay or settle in the UK, you may have the right to appeal. We will write to you with details of why your application has been refused and the next steps available, including your right to appeal.
If you have a right of appeal, we will send you full details of your rights and an appeal form, which you will need to complete and return.
