This page contains information about documents that may help to support your application to come to the UK as an overseas designated pilot examiner undertaking a permitted paid engagement.
You must provide a copy of your invitation from an approved UK-based training organisation which is regulated by the UK Civil Aviation Authority to assess if UK pilots meet the requirements for the national aviation regulatory requirements in the country where they intend to fly.
You must provide evidence that you are designated to carry out such examinations on pilots who need to meet the aviation requirements of that country. For example, you may provide evidence that you are employed overseas as a member of that country's national aviation authority.
