This page contains information about documents that may help to support your application to come to the UK as a visiting lecturer undertaking a permitted paid engagement.

You must provide a copy of your invitation from a higher education institution, or UK-based arts or research organisation to give a pre-arranged lecture or series of lectures in your particular field of expertise.

You must provide evidence that the engagement relates to your expertise and/or qualifications, and full-time profession overseas. For example, you may wish to provide publications by you in a particular field, evidence of previous lectures given in that field of expertise, or a letter from your employer confirming where you work and your area of expertise.
