Enrolling your biometric information

This page explains how to enrol your biometric information for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games if you are taking part in the Games as an athlete, coach, or accredited member of the media.

If you normally provide biometric information (fingerprints and facial photograph) to get a visa to enter the UK, you will still need to provide your biometric information to get a Games accreditation card. You should arrange to attend and provide your biometric information for accreditation cards from the dates we have listed for your country in the 'more information' section below. You must enrol your biometric information at the relevant British High Commission or visa application centre in your country. You can find the details about the Biometric collection in the 'more information' section. We will provide the contact details for booking an appointment on this page in October 2013.

The closing date for providing your biometric information for of the Commonwealth Games accreditation process is 30 April 2014.

World Athletics Championships in Moscow

If you are attending the World Athletics Championships in Moscow and you are a potential Games Family member, you will be able to provide your biometric information for your accreditation card at the British Embassy in Moscow. The location of the biometric clinic is approximately 5 kilometres north of the Luzhniki Stadium. The biometric clinic will be open from Thursday 8 August to Monday 19 August 2013. It will only be open on weekdays (Monday to Friday only) between the hours of 13.00 and 17.00.
