Refusals and appeals

This section explains how you can appeal against our decision, if we have refused your application to enter the UK as the fiance(e) or prospective civil partner of a British citizen or a person settled here.

If your application is refused, you will have a full right of appeal. When we refuse your application, we will give you a letter explaining why we have refused it and explaining how to appeal.
