Documents and proof
This section explains what documents and proof you must provide with your application.
When you make your application, you must provide all the necessary documents for us to consider. The only documents that we will accept as evidence are those listed in this section.
You must send original documents, as well as your photographs and passport, or travel documents, and identity card if you have one.
You must send proof of the availability of your money to get your 10 points for your money.
If you are 16 years old or over, you must also send any documents that you used to get your visa letter or confirmation of acceptance for studies from your approved education provider.
From February 2010 the UK Border Agency will only accept a confirmation of acceptance for studies and will no longer accept a visa letter.
If you do not provide all the documents we need when you apply with your application form, we may refuse your application, and your fee will not be refunded.
