Update on applying online in the UK under Tier 2 (intra-company transfer)

05 April 2013

If you are applying online, after 6 April 2013, for permission to remain in the UK under Tier 2 (Intra-company transfer), you may be asked for some additional information.

On 6 April 2013 we are updating the Immigration Rules. This includes if you are applying for permission to remain in the UK ('Leave to Remain') under Tier 2 (Intra-company transfer) and you earn £152,100 or more you will not need to meet the English language requirement.

Our online application system will still ask you to complete questions about your English Language ability. If you earn a gross annual salary of £152,100 or higher you may choose to complete these questions but your English Language ability will not be taken into account when making a decision on your application.

Your English Language ability will only be taken into account where required by the Immigration Rules.
