Since December 2006, the UK Border Agency has used the research company Ipsos MORI to carry out public opinion surveys on our behalf.
We use opinion polling to ensure that we understand and measure public priorities, concerns and satisfaction with the policies and services we deliver. This helps to inform our policy development and to make sure that frontline services are accountable, responsible and effective.
This page contains the results of five opinion polling surveys that we have carried out since December 2006. You can also view the Home Office's quarterly opinion surveys covering both crime and immigration issues on the Home Office website.
The polling by Ipsos MORI is not part of the Home Office's research or National Statistics outputs, nor does it represent a statement of Home Office or UK Border Agency policy.
