Applying for a replacement certificate
This page explains how to replace a certificate of registration or naturalisation as a British citizen if your certificate has been lost or stolen or if there are errors on the certificate.
How to apply for a replacement registration/ naturalisation certificate
If you need to apply for a duplicate registration/naturalisation certificate because you have either lost or damaged your original certificate, you should complete and return the duplicate registration form which you can download from the right side of this page.
If your certificate has been stolen please report it to the Police.

Incorrect details on a certificate
If there are errors on the certificate, please return the original certificate, evidence and covering letter to:
