This section explains how organisations can help refugees to integrate into the UK through:

  • the Gateway Protection Programme, run in conjuction with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees;
  • the integration loan scheme for new refugees and those granted humanitarian protection;
  • the European Refugee Fund, overseen by the European Commission; and
  • the Refugee Integration and Employment Service, which provides advice, support and mentoring.
