Corporate partner group
This page describes the purpose and membership of the UK Border Agency's corporate partner group.
The corporate partner group provides a forum for the agency's chief executive and board to work more closely with our key partners on strategic issues, and to share information regularly.
The group meets quarterly, enabling open and constructive discussion about how we develop and deliver policy. Our partners get to hear about what we are doing, share their views and help develop solutions to achieve our strategic objectives.
Membership
The group consists of senior representatives from the following key partner organisations, which have a range of interests in our work:
- Board of Airline Representatives (BAR UK)
- British Ports Association
- Confederation of British Industry (CBI)
- English UK
- Equality and Human Rights Commission
- Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA)
- Refugee Council
- Trades Union Congress (TUC)
- United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
- Universities UK
The group's secretariat is managed by the UK Border Agency's partnerships and engagement team. They ensure that members receive appropriate information about our business, and they create opportunities for members to be involved in what we do.
