What you need to bring with you to a reporting event

If you are reporting, you must remember to bring several documents with you:

  • your directions to report; this is usually a sheet which has the number 'IS96' in the top corner.
  • your application registration card (ARC), if you receive asylum support.
  • evidence to confirm any new information you wish to provide, including anything which you believe will affect your ability to report when you currently do;
  • the travel card or ticket you used to come to the reporting centre - if you qualify for assistance with travel expenses to report;
  • evidence to confirm a change of address if it has changed since your last reporting event. A handwritten copy of the new address is not enough. We need a copy of a tenancy agreement or official document, such as a bank statement, showing that you live at the address you have moved to.
